Nice build looks great.

Killer dig set-up too. One question...the steering knuckle you used as the pivot. Does it being at an angle cause the slider part to operate at a weird angle when it pulls away from the trans? Might not be enough movement to even matter. Is it going to have a lock position?

Nevermind I'm stupid!!! I see now that the knuckle holds it all in place and that it doesn't move. STUPID JOEY

its actually a rear upright off an old rc10t so the drive line is straight, the sweep on the camber link mount of the upright allowed me to stuff the servo where i did.

the lock position is something i am trying to decide on. i used to run an r2d with just the lock position(no neutral) so i am trying to decide how i am gonna run this thing. i plan doing a brake (o-ring on the associated yoke side)

i gotta get my 4 channel radio so i can get it setup. the super is next

I use my R2D in neutral most of the time. Engaging 4wd when needed and lock sometimes.

people always ask me why I dont run one of my own tubers, and the reason is as you stated; they are sold most of the time before I even cut my first piece.

4st... the build looks very nice. that dig setup looks like the chassis was designed around it, it fits so well. cant wait to see it with panels.

I'm thinking more along the lines of "immobile pile of miscellaneous parts"
