I got traxxas big bores and put the axial shafts in them and some longer rodends from a WK. It sits about as low as the stage 2 deal but is very nice at half droop w/ losi whites.

integy msr10 shocks are working well for me just got to find the right set of springs to use for them. The stock soft are to soft and the hard are to hard.

The shocks from "jpcustomrc" are great - threaded body, two sets of springs - and they don't leak - check them out

I would go with the Big Bores there hard anodized teflon coated and smooth as butter. I have them on all my rigs they work great

I like my stock shocks.

If the tops are popping off you are filling too full and not bleeding correctly or have the upper spacer set up wrong.

Mine don't even leak out of the bottom since I added a thin traxxas spacer between the 2 o-rings.

I just got some Hot Racing 120mm shocks from Hobby Central in Mira Mesa for about $30 for two shocks I think. Aluminum shocks. I am running them on my AX10 also with the stage two upgrades and have had no problems. They came with two sets of springs each. I like these much more then the stock axials.

i would have to agree here. simply for the fact that they are a longer shock and would allow for more articulation. but i would modify the shock towers and move them up a little further allowing the chassis to sit lower to the ground.
