Default AXIAL Drive Shaft Rings Installed

Hey guys, i frequent the board. I see alot of posts especially today about driveshafts. When going through the new axial stuff at the lhs i found the axial drive shaft rings p/n #ax30493. My drive shafts have never popped off but with my first comp this weekend this idea appealed to me. One popped shaft and i would be cussing and not a happy little camper so on they go.
First gathered up the parts needed pliers ca glue.

this is the rig it will go on

Sliding on the ring to the shaft. Trimming the little nub that is there from the drive shaft when it came on the tree is the only mod i had to do

I found that i only required ca glue on two of the shafts used on the male shafts. The rings fit very snug on the female shaft

Finished and assembled on the rig

Seems that these are nice little units, a little expensive but nice.
This is my first build thread like this so any feed back would be good, so i can improve my posts.

I still find it amusing that something we have been doing for ages with Pede shafts and a small peice of brass they decided to market.

Nice write up. I've been thinking of getting these, but I'm going to wait until mine blow out and I absolutely have to.

I like the sheet of hearts in the first pic, does your mommy give you those when you get a boo-boo?
