Axial just released pictures of the CVA they are releasing. Should be a month or so before they are out (rough estimate from the article I read).

i can wait a month. I'm stuck inside anyway with all the snow outside. for now, i will put the rcp straight axle on the rear. I think the RC4wd is ugly.

Agreed, Omg poor scorps, I see them getting hit with a slew of super size outrunners with the drive train nearing bomb proof status. I am ordering hd rings and pinions, strait axles, aluminum outers as we speak. All we need now is a STEEL LOCKER lol.

Found these on tower. They are advertised to be for the AX10. Have a set on the way to find out for sure...

If the picture is what you are going to be receiving, well, you're out of luck. Notice the splines on both ends of both CVDs? That's for a Clod.

Never had a Clod so I didn't no what the splines were for... I guess they will be issuing me a refund here shortly. Wonder what compelled them to put that it will work with the Axial in the description.

i see double D end which cant take the torque thats being applied to it!!!..square or hex/spline would much nicer(i.e.allen wrenchs sockets pipe plugs nuts n bolts....things that have torque applied to it in large ammounts)

Couldn't you cut down WK cvds and grid new flat spots at the ends?

I'm guessing you could.

Might be possible to use a heavier duty CVD, like one designed for a Maxx, if there is clearance in the knuckle.

Only thing with the WK CVD's is that the inner bearing in the knuckle of the Scorpion is a big one, unlike the WK inner knuckle bearing, but finding the right bearing would solve that.
