Question droop setup cg?

I decided to go with a droop setup on my scorp and now I have an issue with too low ground clearance. I did a search but I am still learing how to use this forum so I appologize. I am sitting at about 1 3/4 in high and cant get over anything straight on unless i aproach at an angle. I am running 1 1/4 x 5/16 x .023 under the piston and 3/4 x 5/16 x .023 on top of the piston with 50wt oil in all four shocks. If anyone has any advice I would appreciate it thanks.

Droop isn't worth it on a stock truck. I think it's intended more for tuber and things like that. I couldn't get my stock ax-10 to climb over a peble droop, now my edge I wouldn't run anything but droop.

thats not true at all

i have just converted to droop and through some trial and error it is working astonishingly well. i plan on posting a droop build for "stock" ax10 chassis as soon as i get time. it cost me less than ten bucks and now i get up stuff i couldnt before. stay tuned.........

dont discourage people just because you couldnt make it work. of course you run droop on an edge, thats what it was designed for. that doesnt mean you cant run it on a stock chassis

So I should put Fuel tubing on the shaft to get my ride hight and limit articulation cause right now I have way to much. I am seriously concidering going back to springs outside but I have to try real hard to roll this thing ove now as opposed to before it would roll way to easy. Thanks guys, this place is great I have been hangging out here for sometime now and I got an ax for xmas so no the fun starts. Been into rc for over 12yrs but this rocks are way more fun!!!

Ok sorry I guess I shouldn't discurage you. I tried everything and wasn't happy with droop on my AX-10. Like they said the Edge was designed for it but I still had to mod my shocks for it to react and sit how I wanted it to. I had to put spacer on the inside of the shock like they were saying. I've probably got 1/2" worth in each one. Good luck with your set-up because I didn't have any until I got my Edge but now I love it . lol

Thanks I just dont know about the low ground clearance what would one expect to have with a droop steup? I have about 1 3/4 in and I am assuming this is about right. I am going to order an EDGE soon so I am trying to learn as much as i can before I get it.
