Glitching

Ok I'm running a TQ3 with a novak rooster crawler and Integy 45t with the three cap's soldiered on it. The truck still glitchs pretty bad sometimes. Is this due to my radio or what? All the lines are seprated so there is no interference with the lines to the receiver, motor, or battery.

Thanks
Justin

i got the same problem on my b44 associated buggie (mamba max and 7700kv brushless) im upgrading my radio from a synthesized to a DSM radio to eliminate interference. its coming with 2 recervers so ill run it in the b44(as soon as i repair the broken cva, to much power) and the ax10. but more than likley its caused by the wires from the esc to the motor and batt wires to the esc too. try a random test, move the reciver as far away as possible mount it temporarly if it stops then you found the problem....

My rooster crawler has been glitchy since i got it. If you give it just a tiny bit of throttle it will suddenly jump forward. I know alot of other people that have had the same problem with the rooster crawler.

same for me and im getting pretty sick of this shit

My Rooster CE ran fine on my HPI AM, but when I switched to Spektrum it glitched bad at very low throttle. To fix that problem, I sold it and bought a Mamba Max and haven't had any problems since. :D

mine used to glitch, but after a while it just went away... I think it was because the motor wasn't broken in..
dx3R
novak rooster crawler
integy 55turn

esc mounted right next to rx...

no problems anymore.

Well my receiver is on the opposite side of my truck and all the wires in my truck are as far away from each other as possible. I think the closest two wires is maybe an inch from each other. So you guys dont think a new radio will fix it?

I'm impatient. A week of my Rooster glitching was too long for me. I don't know how long it takes to "break in" a 55t. I've had my Integy for weeks now.
The ESC is made by Novak. They know what their doing.

The ones that glitch are probally manfactured to the first drawing, and I'm sure Novak has done something about it by now. They also know what ones glitch and what ones don't. (the serial numbers on the bottom have different prefixes). Like I said, I'm impatient and didn't want downtime.

mine also was doing it but i re-positioned the reciever (futaba am) and it reduced it dramatically but did not eliminate it. I am getting the spektrum dx3.0 and hopefully this eliminates the remaining interference (my rooster esc is one of the latest manufactured).

You may want to also post this over in the electronics forum. They've got some threads on the topic.

i think this is most prevalent on the AX10 as the instructions for mounting the ESC and receiver picture them side by side underneath the battery mounting plate. Not a good idea by any means.
