Any hole is a stress concentration. There is no reason for that hole to be there IMO.

Get a R2D, you need dig in a 2.2 to be competitive, and for bashing it will allow you to do impossible things.

Need the hole for the pin. They are 6mm shafts made from stainless. I'm going to be running a 2 horsepower outrunner in this rig. I have zero worries about these shafts. And you suggest a tranny with wrist watch gears?????

I got dig with an Axial tranny?????

raptorman, is there anyway to get a set of those stainless steel outdrive shaft or were those just a one of creation. My friends dad has a milling shop so if I could get the files I could probably have some made.
