Default New with AX-10

I have a ax-10 and had it running since about christmas. Its great so far, except for the front right tire hitting the lower link. The truck is all stock too. It has towerpro mg servo, Integy 55t lathe motor, airsoft in front tires, a tazer 12t (for now), and crappy traxxas 2ch radio. Im planning on CKRC stg. 2 and TQ3 radio with rear steer!

Got mine around the same time you got yours. Had the same issue you're having until I weighted the wheels and installed a split battery pack onto the front axle. Added 3.5 oz. of stick on lead weights to each front wheel and 1.5 oz. to each rear wheel. Tire rub ceased on mine after adding the weight.

Though the Betty body looks neat, it's as impractical as heck on this vehicle. Have to do too much chopping to keep it from rubbing. By the time it's trimmed enough to eliminate rubbing, you've hacked away what made it look cool to begin with! I went with a bug body in short order, and actually now wish I'd have saved the money on the bug body all together and just went with a TCS Edge tuber. In fact, if you are dead set on staying with a body style on your truck, PM me for a great deal on an HPI Baja Bug body already trimmed, painted, and ready to install.
I'm goin' tuber on mine!

It has airsoft in the front tires and the split batt. is next on the list. I have a few vintage rc im selling/ trading right now to fund the batt. Its way too top heavy right now with the stick pack on top lol. Also the kit is completely stock, so if the ends are wrong Axial did it lol. The 2nd to last pic is on my homemade crawler course!! Expanding foam and drinking with friends dont mix lol!
