Default Zukmans' Rock Racer

I have been wanting to build a rock racer for a little while.
So here it is:
Modified Axial chassis
35 turn motor
Rooster 12T esc
Airtronics 94362 servo
Axial tranny
Axial axles
Hand made internal shock springs
3 link up front
4 link in the rear

Pretty cool rig! I might think about some sort of guard or slider to prtect your motor/ pinion.

When I finish my 1.9 Ruby it will be 5

The body is a little small but it will be nice on the rocks.

Are you going to mke it to the Feburary comp? I will probably run it to see how it works then.

What is the advantage of running a 3 link in the front and a four link in the rear? In the search most people love one or the other, but I am seeing more rigs with different setup front and rear.

IT is all personal preference. I have the rear on tis one set up with less flex in the rear than the front and more anti squat in the rear. Basicly I am trying an experiment scence I will be doing more speed up hills I think it will work good.

I have 2 more full comp rigs to run so I can play round with this and it wont matter if it doesn't work I will run my tuber or J2-tt.

Default liken it,

hey did you guys notice how his driveline is more inline. when he offset the tranny, looks like this would help the stupid torque flex, . i may try it on mine ,

Axial didn't design their own chassis they stole it. So basicly they didn't think at all.

DON'T. flipping the tranny or moving it won't do anything for torque twist.
