you have to get the Kimbrough, the dowels in the spur gear plate dont line up to the hpi style gear,

Are you running the axial tranny? I run the 90t Kimbrough, barely clears the rear output. This is AX10 forum, did I miss something or does everyone know you run a stampede setup? |

If you had to buy a gear why not get one you don't have to drill. I bought both the 90 and 93 Kimbrough spurs in the same order since some said they had trouble with the gears clearing the drive shaft coupling. I was able to get the 93 on and still have about 1mm of clearance. I bet the 96 would clear too.

90T is probably the max for the AX 10. I tried a 93T, and it scored my outdrive. Why they gave the info for 90T + is beyond me.
