You can re drill any spur gear to fit. We use the HPI 96 on the Pede trans with a little drill work.

I was afraid it would weaken the gear and crack and have trouble? I was going to redrill mine....

it doesnt get weak?

Are you running the axial tranny? I run the 90t Kimbrough, barely clears the rear output. This is AX10 forum, did I miss something or does everyone know you run a stampede setup?

If you had to buy a gear why not get one you don't have to drill. I bought both the 90 and 93 Kimbrough spurs in the same order since some said they had trouble with the gears clearing the drive shaft coupling. I was able to get the 93 on and still have about 1mm of clearance. I bet the 96 would clear too.

90T is probably the max for the AX 10. I tried a 93T, and it scored my outdrive. Why they gave the info for 90T + is beyond me.
