Default My First Crawler

Ok, here is my first crawler. Sorry about the pictures, I will take some more (better) tomorrow.

Axial AX10
Mamba Max
TCS BM9
TCS Edge Chassis
Axial Aluminum Shock Bodies
Futaba 3PK with FAAST
5955 Servo
3c Lipo
Mixed tires on it for the pictures

You will notice fuel tube for the shock limiter. Originally, I had the plastic spacers above the pistons but I believe that is part of the reason that my shock caps popped off. With the suggested droop setting, they are pushing on the caps. I didn't care for that and would rather change the fuel tubing than blow the caps off.

As for the shock bodies, they are fantastic. They seal better than the plactic bodies.

The green doesn't go well with the rest of it so that will have to change!

Just a few things to button up and then it is time to crawl this weekend!

Looks really sweet. After this weekend let us know how those shocks hold up.

Looks good, I like the carbon fiber and tribal flame look.

That thing looks awesome! What weight shock oil and what springs are you running inside the shocks?

Thanks for the positive comments.

The springs are the TCS medium with Kyosho 400 cps oil (roughly losi 40 wt).

Looks good Dave. It's came a long way since the auto parts store lol. I have some Traxxas aluminum big bore caps that you can have that would fit those shocks and you wouldn't have to worry about the plastic ones popping off. Call me if you want them.
