Default ckrc FT dig

I ordered the dig on monday evening and it showed up today.

I followed the instructions listed on ckrc's site and it went together very easy. especially if you've had an r2d before.

i used a flat file to get my output shaft setup to 3mm for the rc4wd dig (the ft dig package still had the rc4wd sticker on it)

I also ordered the linkage thinking it came with the collar that locks to the dig shaft but to no avail it was not included.

i have also found if you tighten the rc4wd dig assembly to tight to the bracket the dig will bind real bad.

couldn't tell you yet. i thought the linkage kit included the collar that attaches the servo to the dig unit. need to go to the hardware store and see if i can find something that will work.

you need a collar to mount to the linkage.

I purchased a ckrc dig as well, it hooks up ok the actual unit. The outdrive is kind of hokey after you cut it. In my limited testing it looked like it was getting chewed by the disconnect engagement. I had a tight fit as well initially. The biggest issue I have is there is nowhere to attach the servo nor any instructions. They also sell a 2.99 linkage mount kit with a picture of the collar, yet when you buy the linkage kit there is no collar which is the main thing I was buying the damn thing for. Very frustrating not to mention the dig comes in about 14 pieces with no instructions just go to there website and figure it out. It is pretty easy to figure out but was surprised. I have it hooked up and it works well but I have no way to connect the servo and really didn't feel like engineering some hokey solution to save a little money, so I just ordered a VF dig today from JPH. Should of done that before, oh well.

I do know this your going to have to taper the out put shaft so it will fall in a little easier besides that all I like is setting the end point of the servo and hopfully it will work?

i'm not the biggest fan of them, but i think they are the best option offered as far as tranny/dig setups go.
