looks good shrek i just painted a rockstar body for my axial and i love it, the black on it is actually carbon fiber. i've actually lowered the chassis 4mm more since these pics so it looks even better now , i have my stock shocks set at 104mm long like the traxxas big bores , my front lower links are just about level now.

i like these bodies, are the factory lines like that for clearance or do you hack into to make sure you dont have tire contact??

i cut mine exactley on the factory line , no extra hacking required lol, i do have a tiny bit a rub when i max out the suspension flex so i may trim the fenders a little, im waiting til my proline wheels come in to see if they may be offset a little more.

thanks Shrek, i run bright colors on all my stuff, my off road racers are even wilder and brighter and i just painted all new bodies for the upcoming 2008 season. i mixed 2 greens together to get the green close to the axial shade and i mixed charcoal and silver together to get the lighter color of the carbon fiber section. i use all parma fascolors

its on the hood and sides to just a little hard to see in the pic, the pic kills the paint job , it glows in real life lol . for the carbon fiber effect i used tool box liner that can be found at walmart , layed the mat on the area , sprayed the lighter color i mixed up and then backed it with black.
