Still finalizing price...will update that as we get closer. Retail on them wont be over $70.00 for sure though...we are tweaking programs to bring price down as far as possible.

Yeah but who needs sleep?

I forgot to ask before, is the housing plastic or aluminum?

At this point it's looking like aluminum.

Very sweet Going to be nice to have a dig setup that will go right onto a freshly built AX-10 kit to give it that "one more thing" that makes it a comp worthy rig.

"Is the housing plastic or aluminum"... I think with the name Billet Works...he'd better make them out of aluminum It would almost be sacrilege to make it out of plastic.

if you are able to price this low enought that the cost of this and an AX-10 tranny combined would be lower than an R2-D2, i think you would have a lot of sales.

also, if at all possible, i like the idea of making the outputs Maxx sized, and if you can do that, any chance of putting a hole through the output for the pin?

I haven't messed around much yet with the Maxx shafts to tell you the truth, but as far as sizing is concerned, I'd make the outputs 6mm. The 5mm of the stock Axial outputs only fit the small yokes....but I think that's others are also saying

excellent design, with an excellent idea.

But one small problem. I know that I am one person who runs pede and/or jato shafts w/ the ax-10 tranny on a few of my rigs, and alot of other people do too. I do also have a rig that runs maxx shafts. With thus said, instead of having everyone change their pede or jato shafts to maxx shafts, have an option of either or. Have this tranny built with outputs to fit the stainless steel pede yokes and have this tranny built with outputs to fit maxx shafts. Or including both outputs when you purchase this tranny.

I imagine we will offer maxx sized outdrives seperately, or perhaps just have you specify when ordering which one you need. The outdrives that are included in the kit are machined billet pieces and much tougher than the stock pieces.

Drive, neutral, and locked. Very rigid with a dual supported outdrive.
