Jesus... I'm surprised the tranny went first. I'd check them axles too.

Steel gears and steel outputs would be a nice addition to the Axial tranny. I was wondering how long it would last locked down with a 3013. I have quite a few of those motors and if you get them turning you will feel thier wrath!

Are ready for a slipper, I have a fix that is real easy.....

BTW-that motor was suposed to be mine, someone promised me 2 of them for a certian entry in the Mid-West comp....

I got the outputs covered, guess I need to find steel gears before I bolt up my 3025-8. My AX-10 tranny seems to be holding up fine with my 10 turn cobalt on 3 cells.

Wonder if Stealth tranny gears would fit? They look similar

Found the Aluminum gear set

http://www.hot-racing.com/?partnumber=SCP1000T&c=420

I think im going to stick with another stock set for now, that gear held up fine to that 3013 for month's of hard abuse.

I predict the aluminum outputs snapping or the factory lockers rounding out

Factory lockers are already swapped out for the New Era ones
