| Cheap mod for axle steer/torque twist
Im at work, so pics to follow! I used the rear servo plate, mounted a pair of ball ends through the servo hole, extended the top links a fair way (no ruler, so no idea on length. I'll measure tonight) and moved the lower links to the outside of the diff. The top links are bolted to the chassis without a spacer. Not much triangulation, but it doesn't move. (I used a lpong threaded screw and some spacers to lengthen the top links. I will replace these with the lower links when I get my new bent ones!) Doesn't twist under gas and little to no axle steer! All for the cost of £3.00 (6USD) |

Nice, that only works on that chassis though. With the stock AX-10 chassis the upper links will bind on the chassis. Nice work though! |

Nice cheap idea. Might lack a lil durability compared to other methods but I like cheap!. Let us know if you break or bend those rod ends.

It's all holding up fine so far. But thinking about going to a jeep body as the high lift is popping shafts! BUT looks cool! Update: It reduces the torque steer, but I'm running the softest springs I can to get full flex. Short springs to get a semi droop setup isn't helping I don't think. |
