Thanks guys!

I love the smooth trottle response of the Sidewinder! I didn't realize electronics had came so far in the past 5 years.... thought my Novak Super Roosters were still the best thing out there!

Hacked up a new Betty body today. Got a set of Proline 8-shooters to mount up as soon as my memory foams get here,

Thanks!

It was fairly easy.... I cut about 1.5" off the back (tailgate area) then cut the center of the bed out. I have the body slammed lower than the GC1 chassis would allow, so the center of the bed had to go anyway. Pulled the sides in and screwed the shortened tail section on.

Betty bodies are cheap and plentiful, and, IMO, with the right trim they look awesome! I have a collection of unpainted Betty's... probably won't run anything else for a while!

Mounted the Claws up on a set of Proline 8-shooters with Proline memory foams.

I like the way the narrow wheels pulled the sidewalls in.... the overall width of the truck is less too. That should help me get thru gates a little easier.

I like the new body, but it needs the crease down the red stripe like the old one had.

Thanks guys!

We're going to try to drive down for the comp. Gotta decide which car to drive.... $4.00/gallon for gas, and we've got a 4x4 SUV and a 4x4 V8 crew cab truck!
