Default my first 2.2 crawler

my first axial (nylints suck, but hey they got me into this hobby)

its pretty standard: novak crawler esc, novak 55t, mg servo's, TQ3, stock links with 25 degree bends, 12.25" wheelbase, 3.25oz in each wheel, memory foams, m2 badlands, tmaxx shocks, TCS skid plate and 4 link servo plates, 4 wheel steer, comp ready but ill never compete with it.

whatcha think about 2.25" of belly clearance? so far i am very impressed with this thing, it crawls very well uphill down hill and side side hills, but i think im going to drill some holes and move my upper link mounts at the frame end lower down toward the lower links. better link triangulation should get rid of my torque twist.

this is where im gonna put the upper links

little vid
a little bashing

Question

Nice, But Is That Not Going To Be To Low For The Lower Links

it works. the lower links dont hit the uppers at full compression if thats what your asking, even when flexed out. i need to get tmaxx shocks though for the front now, or put the spacers inside the shocks, but i just dont like the axial shocks cause the caps always come off and the fluid leaks out. i have never had a problem with my tmaxx shocks.

i moved my upper links to the lower holes that i marked in the above picture. and i put tmaxx shocks on the front like the rear.
i have absolutly no torque twist now, it just goes straight! pretty simple mod.

with the axial shocks they sat half way compressed at ride height so when i took off that right side would lift and "allow" the torque twist.

the tmaxx shocks sit fully extended, so all i have is compression. im running losi soft springs on them with the big spacers aswell.

ill get some video when this damn rain stops. i guess it's time for an indoor course.
