Default Blackjack chassis space.

Is the Blackjack chassis long enough or wide enough to fit both a HH cobalt motor and a VF DIG? I have been looking at pictures of everyones rigs and I can't tell if the aluminum side plate has enough space for the extra length of the cobalt motor.

Thanks

I believe that if you are running an AX-10 trans, you can fit any size motor in you wish. It is only when a R2 trans is used that motor size would become an issue. The VF dig only takes up room that was previously unusable so that should not even be an issue.

there are no holes in the BlackJack's plate, its up to you to drill your own...

EXACTLY! with an ax10 trans you wont have any problem, ive seen an HH cobalt motor in a blackjack but it was tight. look at kamikaze's build thread.

theres not enough room in the side plate, between the braces at the bottom theres only 1.5" of room.

yea, im trying to fit a cobalt + axial tranny + VF dig into a blackjack, and theres gonna have to be some modifying done to the chassis.

but i dont really want to make the chassis any wider. the narrower it is, the less it'll hang you up on
