Default AX10 Input Shaft Issues

Have any of you been snapping the E CLIP retainer and tip of the input shaft INSIDE the axle?? This past weekend I actually was driving at a new course, and had a pretty good run....then when packing up to go, I started to hear like a skipping within one of the axles. Upon opening it up last night, I found that the E CLIP was "gone" and the retaining portion was cracked off and all of the chunks that should have been there are gone. (probably ground up by the gears). I replaced the input shaft, and E-Clip....and inspected the gears for damage....all is better. Just wondering if others are having this issue.
