I set my end points at 30% before binding and adjust from there.

I may try that and mount it on the chassis, if it fits. Sparky is using another JR servo on his 2.2 and seems to work great. I don't know which model it is though.

I have been using the new JR 3421 high torque servo on my VF and have had no problems. It pushes 72 OZ @6v and will fit the same mounting bracket. I did burn up 2 Hitec servos back to back with no load what so ever on them. I still think its the Spectrum radio system for some odd reason.

That looks tight, and looks like it addresses the things with the SW3/AX10 axle combo Nice work

Thanks Nathan. Yeah, the SW3 with AX10 gear was a belly dragger that sat too low for me with 4" shocks. This chassis raises your belly clearance and allows you to mount your body even lower.

The links measure just under 4" eye to eye on the rod ends.

I got the servo mount made up for my VF dig. I decided to stick with the standard servo I was using for the TLT dig. In an effort to keep weight low in the chassis, I managed to shoe horn it down between the rear driveshaft and the open motor side plate. It just barely clears the driveshaft and upper 3-link. In order to make everything fit I hacked the main chassis plate and hung the tranny out the side of the chassis, which also helped center the motor up even more.

Brad, you always cease to amaze me!! If there's a spot, you'll find it. Thats a great idea, now you can use a standard servo for the dig.

Thanks.

I'm hoping to give it a little test run today and see how it works.

Nice!

I like the servo mount I'm really surprised you fit a full-size servo back there... I can't even fit the MG-225 in that space on my rig

I am always trying to shoehorn everything on the skid as well... My FX-R should help a little, and some new carbon fiber servo/ battery mounts are going to help out on the axles. Now I just NEEEEEED to get an SWX!!

Well that is brilliant!! I was thinking also if I could get a straight pull on the VF unit it would operate alot more smoothly. Plus I also want to use a standard size servo. Now to figure the programming on my DX-6!

Way to think B-RAD!

Patrick, Maybe if we distract him with a safety meeting we can steal it and make copies! But then he would just build something better to kick our a$$'s!

What the hell Mike! He does not need any advise from you, Thx

Bender I would not take Mike's advice, he is not even competing. You run your rig your way Matter of fact, I would boycott this upcoming event in protest of Mike thinking he is smarter than you! I personally would not stand for it
