But with all the dig problem I had I am switching my SWX to a Axial. It looks that the DNA dig is the one for these Axials right. I see you are running 13.3 ounces. What wheels are you running and do you just lead weight them.
The DNA dig is the unit I use personally, and it'll bolt up to the AX10 tranny in my chassis without any issues. The servo mount for the dig may need a little re-working to sit cleanly in the chassis without any interference though.

I run the MSD aluminum beadlock wheels, with the heavy memory foams. So, I haven't really added much weight to the fronts, maybe a couple ounces per wheel. And I don't run an extra weight out back.

this chassis freggin rules! mad props Bender.

i have the new DNA dig and servo mount as well. I used the AX10 RTR servo for the dig, and mounted it in the original position on top of the tranny.

yea its a lil high, but i can still pull 65*-70* inclines, so im not to worried.

i got 13oz of lead in each front, and 5oz in each rear.
Thanks, I'm glad you like the chassis. Looks like a sweet build.

I started installing my new Vanquish dig today. So far I am really impressed with this unit. All stainless steel for strength, small overall size for narrow chassis' and the 2.5:1 ratio on the lever is sweet.

I'm going to try and get a little testing in this weekend and report back.

We watched scuzzy put the hurt on his Vanquish dig. Full bind up, full throttle fast on and off, and it never flinched. Amazing unit!

That is a "WORK OF ART". Is looks like the Axial factory made it.Can you run a normal size servo? I haven't seen the price yet. Have they released the DIG yet? If they price it right they will sell a ton of them.

How did you do at Donner?

how does this dog clutch attatch to the rear output? Does it just "float" or does it use a set screw?

That thing looks sweet. I run the SWX and all I have to say about it is that it's the best out there. My rig is one climbing SOB. This dig should be a perfect match. Dose it have to have a full size servo or will a mini work just as good. Will this thind fit in the SWX?

The mount is designed for a full size servo, why waste time with a mini servo, since the weight difference is marginal

Nice work Brad, looking forward to your opinion on the rocks

I got a chance to run the new VP dig this weekend for a bit. So far it's working awesome. I'm going to try and hit a few more crawl spots this week with it for some more in depth testing.

Default Time well spent

I just read almost every page of the 46 pages and am very impressed it is almost as though Brad needs to just right a handbook for crawlers.
Thankyou very much for all of the much needed info, I am not experienced enough yet to even consider giving advice or opinions but, this has been extremly informative thanks again brad...that new dig looks amazing
