Hey Bender do you have any Pics of your Chassis? How did you get the servo to fit with the supplied servo mount and the SWX chassis? Thanks

The VP dig works awesome. I ran it this past weekend at the Red Rocks comp in Colorado and it worked flawlessly for me. My transmission mounting point is a little different from stock. So, I'll try to get my set-up bolted into a stock SWX chassis and post some pics for everyone this week.

Looks to me like your rear upper link hits the dig servo VP is going to make a mount for a mini servo, which might give more clearance.

God the SWX's are sweet man. i love this chassis.

now with both the DNA and VP digs available, we gots good options.

im actually debating getting a micro servo, due to the fact i broke the mounting brackets on my current dig servo.

its held in by faith and ghetto rigging right now.

i think id try and mount it low on the chassis itself, or fab up a new lil bracket.

i also recently moved my uppers to the highest mounting point on the chassies, and it climbs up shit that it couldnt before.

the lil bit of additional squat really works well w/ my COG.

He is not using the standard setup. It is a deviated version of what everyone else gets.

Yes the SWX is by far the best thing out there. Thanx Bender
At frist I moved my uppers down to clear the servo and also lost a lot of climbing. That is why I flipped the srew head on the inside. It dose not seem to both the the digs movement.

Bender

I see that all other dig's the drive shaft have to be shorten. With this new Vanquish dig do I still have to shorten the drive shafts?

Also what turn motor do you run and what is your gearing

Correct. I have a prototype skid plate and the tranny mounting holes are slightly different from the production SWX skid plate.

You'll have to shorten the driveshafts a little. The driveshaft doesn't move when using the VP dig, but you are lengthening the tranny when you bolt the unit up.

I think my old Losi springs will be too short to use with the big bores. I've never run big bores so I'm not sure what springs would work best. I've never tried the progressive springs either. But, they may work decent. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

For everyone who runs this chassis what is your wheelbase at? Belly clearance?

I'm puttin mine together and having one hell of a time. My WB comes out to 12 3/4" and belly at 3". I'm using the "phatty" delrin links. When I first put it together my axels were clocked in pointing my axel outpout towards the ground. I put spacers in the upper links to force the axels to clock out so the output is facing up. Now the clock is correct but WB is to long.:?

I can post pics of this if it would make more sense.
