I found an old titanium Maxx turnbuckle to work as a drag link for now. I also shaved the odd ball plastic servo post on the axle to give me more room for batteries. I poked holes in one of the stock AX10 battery straps and tied it to the axle with a couple button head screws. Then strapped in one of Rubbaneck's lipo packs to test the fit and finish. Steering bottoms out right as the knuckle assembly hits the pack.

Just noticed that you stood the shocks upright. Could'nt get them to work upside down and clear the lower link mounts? No more side hilling like spiderman anymore...

I didn't try mounting them upside down, it might work. This rig will sidehill waaay better then my TLT, I know that already.

Not completely. But, I did just get back from it's first test session. I shot a little video too, I'll try and get something edited/posted soon.

The vid looks good. Did you drill any holes in your MSD's? The tires looked to flatten out quite a bit.

Thanks.

Yeah, I drilled a .150 diameter hole in each wheel. I'm messing around with some home made foams out front right now too, but I'm not sure they are the answer.

They looked to be awfully soft, especially when pushing into an uphill climb.
