I haven't driven it yet. But, I did use blue loc-tite on the outer bearings. We will see if it holds them in place. I have a prototype BTA tierod, and the stops aren't in the way at all.

I know you said 1/4" carbide end mill, but the pic you posted looks a bit like a twist drill bit. Is there an extra step to it or is it just my eyes playing tricks on me? I just want to make sure and do it the way you did it, when I get mine. Thanks. Edit: Nevermind, it was just my eyes. Just noticed all the tiny chips. Last edited by sim; 04-01-2010 at 06:25 PM.

Most places you go do you not change your gearing or motor? Just curious and also what are the specs of the battery you use? Just getting an idea of what type it takes to complete a comp.

| I don't change my gearing or motor for the most part. Try to find a set-up that has decent wheel speed and torque. I run 1100mah 3s lipos from MaxAmps. They are compact and have good punch. |

You mentioned on the axial blog that you reduced you front wheel weight. What is you current all up wheel weight in the front, and rear? |

Just ordered a SWX from the local hobby shop. Can't wait to get tuning on it. I'm trying to get my Big Bores setup right now. Just trying to find a good 4 link BTA kit now to get some better steeriing.

| Lower Links- Delrin
I went through the entire 51 pages of this thread and noticed that you are still running the Delrin lower links, where can you get these links? Or did you make them? Great build, I am new to the sport but this was an inspirational review of your build, now I have something to shot for. Thanks -DMS |

Hey Brad i saw that you said your front track width is 10.5, Is it still the same with the Super 300's? Right now I'm barely 10 and I want to get to at least 10.25 but I'm not sure how to with the Super 300's. Thanks, Allen |

It is still the same width. I am running some old TLT CVD hexes with barrel nuts out front, they give me the extra 1/2" of width.
