Well I am new to the crawling have a ax-10 love have a few questions. One is that I am running a team associated high torque servo and keep stripping steering arms and seems like I dont get much turning radius. I heard ad bb's to wheels for better weight dist. how much foam do you take out to allow for clearance. I thought about running a 9.6v battery pack for lower center of gravity it body rolls horrible. Any help would be much appreciated. I have to be able to outwheel my buddy's clod with gecko chasis.

yeah.... *use aluminum servo arms and make sure they are seated all the way and be sure to use loctite *the turning radius sucks because the axles are fully locked (spool style) so both tires turn equally. research front dig (essential in my opinion *I wouldnt go with bb's as they could tend to shift weight and affect your center of gravity in a neggative manner. *for a better center of gravity; lower ride height, use weights (stick on lead style are good) where needed (inside the wheel is good those questions can all be answered by using your search button GOOD LUCK

What ESC are you running? Not all ESCs can handle 9.6v packs. Also, you say you want to out crawl a Clod/Gecko... The Scorpion is in a different class, 2.2. Sure it may be able to some stuff better, but a Super based rig will generally be able to handle the larger, and what could be considered more difficult, rocks and terrain.
