Default ***One-Piece Design Locker***

Well here's a preview of a locker that I will be making available to the public hopefully in the next week or two. It's a solid, one piece design that's made for simplicity and durability. Being a single piece also allows for ZERO slop. This locker allows the axle shaft ends to completely seat into the locker. Along with the tighter tolerances provided by machining, it will last much longer than stock. The production version will be made of 6061 series aluminum and should be very reasonably priced. I hope you guys like it !

I'm working on that right now actually ! Does the hardened ring gear have the same I.D. as the stock?

As of right now, no. If I'm able to get them done at my dads shop it's definitely a possibility though. But keeping it in house would be nice.

I do need some help though right now. What's the I.D. on the stock ring gear and the hardened ring gear? For the prototypes to work the ring gear needed to be opened up a little to fit onto the spool, and have since lost that dimension. But I'm messing around in AutoCAD right now and I think that I've solved that problem, but I need that dimension to know if it would work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I wish that these would have been out a few weeks ago....I just installed some stainless lockers to replace the nasty stockers. If I can break these, I will have to try yours. Yours look just SWEET!!!

Dandaman: Even if I was able to discuss prices, I still couldn't tell ya . I have a range that I'm shooting for, but I still need to see if this second prototype works. If it does, it'll drop the price a little bit more :-).

i dont understand why people would make an aftermarket locker out of aluminum. doesnt that tend to wallow out its not like we need a lightweight locker. thats a good place to have weight

Not if the tolerances are tight enough
