Thanks, I'm really liking this build! The Black Jack is very versatile, I don't think I've seen any two that were built the same. As for my camera, it's just an old Fuji Finepix S3000 I've had it for several years.

Spent the afternoon lowering my DIG set up. W/ the Black Jack being so compact and I'm wanting to run the Rock Star body as low as possible, but the body was interfering w/ the DIG's ability to engage. So I tore it down and proceeded to get it mounted lower. I then went ahead and trimmer some more off the Rock Star body as well.

Here is a pic of it mounted on the GC-1 for comparison to the reconfigured set up.

Ended up being able to lower the DIG 20mm (3/4 inch) or so. Then fabbed up a new servo mount and a shorter lever as well as a new Hitec HS-225MG servo which has nearly 70 oz's. of torque to power the DIG.

Also got the electronics mounted.

Need to finish up the wiring and then on to Paint!

Looks awesome dez

My nephew ran his second comp with his blackjack I built him this weekend and without the bad luck, he did great(had a rollover and hit 3 live gates).

How long is your lipo? With a diff batt mount and the shocks on top of the axles BTA steering is super do-able with the gc-1 link setup.

It looks very good dez. My only concern is mounting the MM and CC BEC on the outside of the TVP. To me, it looks like it's just asking for trouble. Maybe the your terrain is different, but I am certain that it would not be safe to mount them outside and crawl the stuff we crawl. Unfortunately, it looks like your out of room though. I am very interested to see how you like your black jack and see how you do. I have an extra GC1 with TLT axles I could easily swap the GC1 TVP's out for Black Jack TVP's.

I have mounted my electronics in that location before on my Erickson XL-4 rig w/o issue, so hopefully I will have the same luck this time.

I might look into a Tekin R1 as it is really tiny and I could mount it somewhere on the chassis that is less exposed.

Hope to be able to report back on it's performance soon!

Hint: fold the sides of the body in until it touches the chassis or links. you'll really need this.
