I went to Jeremy's (BlueMonster) last night to drop off the Castle link and I brought my rock racer. It was a blast, I went completely up and over his rock pile on the rear tires wheelie style, twice!! The gearing I have in it now will actually work now that I got to try it out in some better rocks. The M3 Mashers were a great improvement in the way it handled bumps and jumps at speed too. This car actually crawls pretty good, if I had dig I would comp with it. The balance is spot on, the car handles really good and is fast enough to be fun but not too fast to be on it's lid all the time. You can really aggressively attack a rock pile and blast right up and over obstacles pretty good with this car. I am happy the way it turned out. |

Yea I have given up that old design of shock mount. I think they work much better on the outside of this chassis. I'm gonna copy those mounts of yours on my next chassis build. |
