glad you like it, that a pretty well built little rig there.

Trimmy 03-31-2008 11:44 PM

Nice rig, what kinda ground clearance are you getting out of those 90mm shocks?

upnover1 04-01-2008 02:50 AM

I'm curious too on your belly clearance,I'm running stampede shocks full droop and just a shade under 3"...

delrin links

Nice rig!
How do you like the links? Do they bend at all? What is the wheel base?

Rockpiledriver 04-01-2008 07:29 PM

Looks great! Nice job.

TEDROCKZ 04-01-2008 07:50 PM

Jam up looking rig, the phatties and hammers will be a great addition"thumbsup"

wurster 04-01-2008 08:51 PM

Nice

Nick chassi.Sound good.

PapaGeno21 04-01-2008 09:50 PM

I have just under 3".

Links are SO SOLID its not even funny. The threaded rod he used for the revo ends going into the links is huge.

The shocks are working great so far.

Major Update.

Thanks!

Yea I love this truck.

binaryterror 04-23-2008 07:33 AM

You know....

Dude try Droop its amazing. This chassis is working great for me...to be honest my VF Dig seems unneeded with the things the chassis and my new skidplate (dual triangulation) is doing. The Revo shocks with the AX-10 and Black Jack so nicely.

I did have a slight fit problem using the stock chassis plate and the AX trans, VF dig, and 55T motor. So I built a new skid...then got all fancy and added dual triangulation.

So which tires do you like better, the hammers or flatirons?

Still what I run and my favorite setup.

Papa... I see all the questions paid off. Very nice rig. I am really glad you like it and welcome to the army.

PapaGeno21 04-29-2008 09:40 AM

Thats a hard question. The Hammers work awesome, but so do the FlatIrons. However the flat irons arent fully broken in yet, but I am putting them as a tie. There isnt a line they both cant do, and there isnt a line that one can but the other cant.

On my main entrance rock, that is a steep hill, the hammers I had to bump them up and then use wheel speed. The Flatirons just worked.

The hammers are better at side hilling though. However they both are better than the claws.

Franky, yeah man they sure did pay off. I love this chassis, and I love the truck. Its absolutley perfect!
