| Need beefy rod ends!?!
Anyone know if there are any steel, or aluminum, rod end links available? I'm sick of breaking the plastic ones. They are a serious weak link. No pun intended. Cheers

I have heard the metal ones will get pretty sloppy pretty quick. Traxxas rod ends are vastly better than the stock axial ones, and if you break those it sounds like you need to step it up to Dubro rod ends |

Jeezuz those are not cheap! Thanks for the info. It's good to know there is at least an option.

Nice! I'd think you might have a tough time breaking/stripping those!

Don't bother with metal rod ends. Ditch the 3mm stuff, and go with some 4mm Traxxas revo rod ends. |

What is it about the metal ones that keeps them from being superior? I would think they would be much better.

Thanks for all the help guys. I even thought of machining some of my own, but if I can get good ones for cheap enough, it's just not worth the work. Those Traxxas ones look pretty beefy, and not too pricey. Thanks again.

I used the revo rod ends with my new Downtown bend links for my ax-10. Very beefy and plenty strong.

If you can live with using #6-32 studs, you'll never break these ends. May need some spacers to ensure proper flex though. http://www.crawfordperformanceengine...roducts_id=155 |
