Default Traxxas dimensions

what are the dimensions of the u-joints and shaft ends for the pede or tmaxx? I would like to adapt to stock axial metal u-joint to traxxas shafts. Is it possible to fill and drill pede shafts?

pede shafts will fit right on the axial yokes, the problem is that the axial yoke's ujoint pins are not very long.which is one of the main causes for the shafts poping out in the first place.
i have tried to use jato drive-lines but couldn't get the yokes to not slip on the tranny and axle output shafts(cause the jato yokes are plastic so the set screw wouldnt get tight enough.)
your 3 options are
1.traxxas metal yokes + pede shafts (easiest, might have to make the shafts longer by cutting them and gluing back together so you'll need 4 shafts
2. axial yokes + maxx yokes + maxx yokes(hardest cause of the modding and fitment around the spur but strongest)
3.traxxas metal yokes + jato shafts (easy and little stronger than pede shafts., also have to lengthen)

there are some more options but these are the most common.
i wish someone just made a premade tough shaft for the axial lol.

MIP C-Drive Driveshafts for Axial Scorpion

By brianp
You’ve been there. You’re out on the rocks having a good time with your new rock crawler when it gets slightly hung up and then suddenly turns into a 2wd. Just about every AX10 owner knows what I mean. Like we found out with Project Scorpion one of the major weak points on the Axial Ax10 is it’s driveshafts. In the past enthusiasts have tried everything from installed Traxxas Stampede half shafts, to completely one off steel driveshaft sets. All with the hopes to alleviate this problem. MIP (Moore’s Ideal Products) has come to the rescue. Today they unveiled a new set of “C-Drive” driveshafts for the AX10 Scorpion. In combination with their CVD kit your crawler should be bullet proof.

Below are the part numbers and MSRP for the MIP CVD and C-Drive sets. Unfortunately MIP has not released much technical information about these products such as the material they’re made out of. When we get that information we’ll give you an update.
#08100 - CVD™ Front and Rear Set for Axial AX10 Scorpion (4) - $59.00
#08101 - C-Drive Driveshaft Set for Axial AX10 Scorpion (2) - $59.00
Technical information: The C-Drive has 5mm bore at each end & min. working length of 4”
.350 & Max working length of 5”.350 from end to end.

So what part numbers are we looking at here? Is it one of these?

What shafts are used as well?

Thanks in advance.
