On the RCP straight axle adapters is most everybody using the straight axle also(the stainless one-piece) or the factory axles. Just trying to get an order together.

The suspension is good now but I am building some 4" Losi shocks to go one it. They have 1/2" or so more travel. Which tranny did you get yours drilled for Ax or R2D? The Ax will reverse and keep the motor on the same side(eee pee's thread). I don't think the R2D will swap without putting the motor on the left, have not really studied on swapping mine around. It may work.

You can easily drill the mounting plate to except just about any trans you want. Just take your time and layout all related parts before drilling.

Yes running droop with some old losi slip collar type 4" shocks. I milled off the anodizing and polished them up a little. Also added a spektrum 3500 reciever today. That thing is tiny.

Definitely go with the RCP straight axles. I tried running the straight axle adapters without the the SS straight axles and axle stubs were chewing up the inside of the staight axle adapters because of the slop they have when not used with the straight axles.

Very nice build, are you having any problems with stirpping out the splines on the inside of those plastic servo horns? Or am I just having really bad luck with them?

...TR i was thinking about dropping my servo down too but i dont really want to have to cut up a servo horn...might have a pre shortened one in the box somewhere come to think of it...

So how is it running mate? Get it outside and scratch it up

This thing crawls great. It has had the hell scratched out of it. That is the good part about the aluminum design scratches sand out easily and it has new axle housings, probably be the last time it will be this purty. As far as dropping the servo there is probably no advantage, but just looks better IMO. Did you recieve yours yet Bithed
