Ive seen both and have no preference either way. I think both systems are good and would buy which ever is more affordable. =)

I just got the Hot Racing rear lockout yesterday. It went on easy and seems great, I too have no preferance. They had it in stock so I bought it.

The Axial Lockouts are by far the smallest out there at the moment, however they do require the use of AX30421 Straight Axle. Thanks, Axial |

Are your straight axles made out of the same materials as the stock axles?

http://www.axialracing.com/ftp/ax10o...e_lockout.html It should be mentioned on the site and anywhere the parts are mentioned. The only place I saw it was mentioned (after I got my parts) were on the RCP Crawlers website.

| HAHA, I'm must be blind. I didn't even see that when I looked. How did I miss that ? I must have skipped over that. Okay, now I feel dumb. Never mind then. I take it back. |
