Default fyi on lower suspension links

well ive been trying to find quality lower suspension links and after alot of rubaging thru my spare tmaxx parts i have found that the rear toe in / toe out links/ turnbuckles are a perfect fit to replace the lower plastic crap on the rtr ax10. and if yall are wondering how long they are, they are 105mm which will give you a slightly longer wheel base. part number is 2339 on the traxxas website. im sure there are alot of you that know this already but i just found this out and thought ide share.......... also for a total of 12 bucks you get 4 complete links and all you have to do is put them together and then on the truck

How much longer? Doesn't put you over 12 1/2" does it? Since thats the limit for a comp rig,it may or may not hurt you on that. Best to measure while the links are flat with the ground since the rig will be it's longest then.

Personally,I'd like to find some about 125mm long and some around 65-70mm long for the fronts.

Thats only 4 links for $12? So for 24 I could build all 8 links on my rig,not bad.

X2......been using T-Maxx and Revo links for a couple years for crawler links....works great, heavy down low and inexpensive.

This is awesome information I have a RTR on the way and this is the first thing I am going to replace.. so the rear links off the T-Maxx fit both the front and rear links on the AX-10?? What about the steering link in the front on the AX-10, what size do I need for that?

jus , as for the steering linkage i would buy the rear steer kit from axial and put it on the front cause i dont think traxxas makes links that small

Traxxas 5319 are not even 1mm longer than the stock Axial lower links. (See my pic above).

Heavier, smoother, and scratch resistant'r. Very good option.

This is great info. None of our LHS carry spare parts for the scorpions, they have tons of Traxxis parts. I had been searching for a good set and wasnt sure what brand was good and what brand was bad. Has anyone tried to use one of these for the front steering bar? I dont like how flimsy mine is on my RTR kit.

5319 links bent and installed just under 12.5 $14 for 4 links and ends

Unlike Cory I used a protractor to gauge and bend mine

I used my teeth and a beer bottle to bend mine, and they're perfect.
