Default Another tuber, with AX10 drivetrain....

Here is my first atempt at building a tube chassis. still need to clean the welds up a bit and weld up a mounting plate for the transmision.

here is what it looks like so far.

yup its solid 3/16 rod mig welded. Wish I had a Tig, i could probably get the weld alot better.

Ya and it is really hard to get in those joints and sand/file down the big welds.

I started a tuber like that and then went with 3/16Al. just because Al. is easier to sand/file


But seriously once you paint, install everything and get panels on it you will hardly notice the welds
