Default not so average scorpion

i made myself a custom chassis out of 1/8" aluminum and 16GA. sheet metal, im using the scorpion trany and axles with a hilux body
im not done yet cuz i hav no drive lines but they are on the way so here's some pics tell me what you think

Nice, get rid of that servo horn, you might get caught up on something. What kind of electronics you gonna use? Hows the WB? I like it so far. Love to see some video when its done. Keep it up!

get some clocked 'C's to get that steering linkage back up where it should be.

looks like you made need to get it lower for the driveline angles too. Maybe go to a droop setup to keep the wheels clear of the body?

looks good so far.

Default scale scorpion

after my first comp i became inspired to make a crawler that didnt suck so much. so i went home and drew some stuff up and cut some stuff and such like that. i ended up with an alright looking scaler
im runnin a:
custom chassis, made of 1/8" aluminum, and 16GA. sheet metal
ax10 trani and axles
45T lathe
12 tooth pinion, 90 tooth spur
losi rock claws
axial beadlocks
hilux body
full droop
ETC....


oh and yes the first day out i beat it up

The build is looking sweet, and it's good to see you beating on it like a good RCer would. ;) I agree with Foodstamp, those shafts are very interesting, who makes 'em?
