| Trost tuber AX-10, the journey
Well i bought this tuber from trost several months ago when they first came out, i had another ax-10 and started building it, but it has gotten delayed because of some setbacks, the first one is that wanted to try out the 30 degree bent links from axial, these would hit the shocks with the stock tranny plate and the one provided by trost had the holes for the srews out of alignment, so i had to wait for another plate from stage3, i received this past thursday, and continued with the build, i soon realized that the chassis wouldn't clear the vf dig, not even the novak goat motor, so i had to take the rear plate out , i had metioned to trost that the front shock hoops were at akward angle, so i had to bend those out to make the shock travel more natural, anyways here are the pics and the specs, also need some help on hiding the wiring on this thing Trost tuber ax-10 diffs and tranny ax-10 shocks(for now) ax-10 stock upper links tcs upper limk mounts(front and rear) ax-10 30 degree bent links Novak goat system DX3r radio sytem Badlands m3(not on yet) Eritex comp heavies(not on yet) some other stuff i am forgetting, ask me if you have any questions though |

noticed you have the delrin locking plate for an R2d tranny... have you tried it out yet? mine worked awesome... for about 3 shifts. the delrin is too soft, and flared out. Couldn't stay locked in dig at all... |
