| My mods so far, Anymore suggestions
I bought this used and made some mods to it. I would enjoy some criticism, leter rip. Here are some pics with the body on Front view Top View Front before mod Front after mod I went to 4 link uppers in the rear, I took the existing servo plate and drilled and countersunk the holes, so i could still use the rear servo. I used the stock lowers for the upperlinks. I had to cut off about 3-4mm off of it to get correct angle. Here are some pics of that. I also added a longer drag link on the rear as i did on the front. Before I flipped the servo after I bought some lower links and cut them to length I took the antenna and changed the way it was ran before I ran fuel line around the chassis and ran the antenna in that Thats it. Now for some input please, thanks. |

Wow, no criticism, I must of done a good job. I am a newb when it comes to crawling. I got all the ideas from this forum. Thanks for the help. A couplle of things i also did was add the losi claws, flip the rear shocks. I added the rubber stoppers on the inside of the shocks in the rear not the front. I also added 6oz to front and rear. Seems to work pretty well. |

Looks really good so far. I like your antenna idea. Thought about adding a slipper? I love the way mine is working and no more twisted shafts, although, I do have a habit of matting it when it gets bound to see if it'll just hop out of the spot.....

Looks great - my only suggestion is to replace the drive shafts with revo's - only if you're into comps.

Looking good so far! One question about your 4 link servo plate. That is the stock plate, right? If so how far in from the edge did you mark for your holes? I want to try this on my stock rear plate. Thanks!

Measure the radius of the screw then measure that from the ege of the plate. For the width i drew a center line and then i divided that by two. You have to cut a few mil of the links to get correct drive shaft angle. You will also need to tap it with a 3 mil. I tested on a rock before going to 4link and it would torque twist right off the rock. Now i can go up the rock with no problems. Last edited by tbizzle; 06-13-2008 at 10:00 PM.
