| My First Comp build
Well Guys I decided to join the ban wagon and build a comp 2.2 crawler using an Axial Kit. Everything I used from this build came from www.ckrccrawlers.com With the help of "Jack" from CKRC I think I have made what I believe to be a very competitive crawler. I am going to give you a list of what is on it and then post a few pics then I would like your honest opinion on what you think. Just keep in mind this is my first build but I think I really have something worth working with here..
I did this just so you can see the underside. This was done for you the viewer not by way of a crash My Wife thought this would be a great crawler. I once again tole her she was a dork lol Nope it's not Mr. Clean!! It's me! 7.5 inches of flex!! What I think is a low CG Well there ya go my first crawler build can't wait to see what you all think! |

Looks good. Watch out though! Once you get hooked on rock it's hard to quit. |

Cool build! You did notice that the tread on one of your tires is backwards, right? I did that the first time I put beadlocks on too. Just curious...you've also joined the growing number of people I've seen that have wives that let you have a crawling spot in your backyard. How do you guys manage to do this? Drugs? Bribery? I get vetoed every time I ask. |

[/QUOTE] i built a bunch of rock walls around my property. i snuck in a couple of extra tons. that is how it started for me. then i demoed a bunch of old concrete and added that to the new "rock garden". a neighbor over ordered on some flag stone so i took that as well. landscapers are good guys/gals to know also. they just bring it by and add to the pile. it is quite the habbit. i need a 12 step program to get me off rock hording.......... n |
