Default VF Dig with Mip driveshafts

Hey, has anyone used the new MIP driveshafts with the VF dig unit? I just picked up one of the dig systems and would like to run the MIP shafts, but I would like to know if they'll work together uncut or if I'll have to mod the back one.

Since they just started shipping them out a couple days ago, people are just now getting them to test. I will have mine today or tomorrow and I'll look at it but someone else will surely let you know by then. However, I'm 95% sure it will have to be cut, and according to those I've spoken to, it should be fairly easy to cut it down to make it the right length. We'll find it out soon.

Got mine today and had to do some pretty major modding to get them to work with my VF. I first tried to shorten them but could not get enough out and still keep the splines engaged. Long story short, I had to cut and tig weld them back together in order to get them short enough and I have my tranny about 3/8" forward on my skid. Find out how well they work at tomorrows comp.

I did and it doesnt work. The MIP shafts splines dont go to the end. I literally just finished cutting mine up. No go, I have the front hooked up. I have a vf dig with the skid plate redrilled for the tranny to go forward more. Oh well.

Why wouldnt they keep their splines to the end? Does it cost that much extra? Wow.... If they are going to do that then they should offer a dig version as well thats shorter. Im pissed...

just remeber that they were made to fit a STOCK AX10.
i realy just wanted it in front becuse when u dig u are puting 100% of the power to the front, and may have to give it some throttle.

Thats a really good point, it seems the front shafts were the first to fail on me. My rear only went after the front did and I had no clue what was wrong then... *snap*
