Default cutting the lizard tread

has anyone cut the tread on there lizard tires? like a comp tread cut or anything similar. if so please post pictures. i couldn't find anything in a search. just curious thanks guys

I think most people just throw them in the garbage, they just dont work as good as the other tires on the market now.

I cut my lizards and was very surprised on how well they worked after..I cut every other lug off the center treads..Im still going to by picking up some new tires but I dont find these bad anymore..

soak em in simple green and warm water. I cut little relief cuts in the center treads and on the side lugs as well.
they are not a throw away tire, ( if you are throwing them away, give them to me )
of course they are not a comp tire at all, but they do crawl for fun.

I tried soaking mine and cutting them and they just didnt work for me. I used them from practice but then the rig was so different with better tires in the comp it messed me up. Now a I have a set of hammers I beat on then save a good set for comps.

I did the same thing......One trick with lizzards is they also work better with slow wheel speed as in no smoke shows.

i grooved the tread on mine and they work just as good and i'm cheap.
