We started shipping them last week, most of the vendors here should have them already or within a short amount of time.

Thanks,
Axial

Yeah I want to know what material these are specifically. Actually just give me a hardness and I can take it from there.

I'm not sure what material was used, but the shafts have proven themselves to be plenty durable so far.

Nice too see these available now Matt, I love mine. The extra steering gained over the stock set-up, and zero backlash are key for comp situations.

I have got these on order along with the RCP knuckles to replace my stock shafts/RC4WD knuckles.

Can't wait to see how much better the steering will be.

Not really, just buy full offset wheels.

Nice job Axial - got mine installed & tested - they work great - much improvement over stock. I tried the MIP cvd's & did not like the fact that you had to be very careful how tight the wheel lock nut could be - these are much better.

Do the MIPs strip or something?

I spoke with Brandon at MIP 2 days ago and he told me that the stub shafts have been redesigned to include a lip that the outer bearing inner race will seat on. That way when you crank down on the wheel nuts it should not bind the bearings. He said that they are scheduled for production in 2 weeks time. I suggest that IF you are having problems, call them up and get replacements. He said that the problem exists on certain aftermarket knuckles.

Locked Up - No, they do not strip - the stub shaft was designed just a fuzz short of the axials - so the distance between the inner bearing and the hex pin was a little off - sounds like they are correcting it - hope so - they usually make a great product.
