Default post a pic of your cut up bettys

i have a scorpion kit on the way and i am going to use the betty body as a first attempt at paint. right now the plan is to cut over the top of the front bumper and fenders(cut them off) and about 1/4 to 1/2 up the "doors", then up over the gas can and flat under the top of the bed.(i know, long-winded run-on).

so lets see how you cut yours up

Pretty close to what you said. I just recently cut off the winch so it is gone now to.

yup pretty close, i plan on going just over the top of the gas cans, but other than that right on.

P.S. for the mods, i know it is a body question, but it is more axial specific so i put it here. move it if you see fit

This is ours about half way through the build. We're still waiting on a few more parts to arrive.

helhedded's first big boy build

I have since then cut even more off. I really wanted to slam the body as low as possible without cutting into the bed too much. Then I lowered the ride height, which caused me to trim even more off. My front tires are taller than the hood.

I can already see that with my new, softer shocks/springs, I'll have to remove more of my front end/fenders. I think the back might be OK for wheel clearance but it might snag on the rocks. Break out the cutting torch :-P
