electronics (battery, servo, radio gear, motor, esc) and good tires. fairly well once you get it put together how you like depends on how you drive it not at all I recommend spending some time on here reading before posting general questions like this. like they say, search works, or even browse for the general natured stuff. hope you like the truck. its served me well so far. |

you need Hex Head tools, motor, ESC, high torque steering servo, reciever, remote, paint for the body (body included) and plenty of patience. |

As for what I'd recommend, the 55T with a Castle Creations Sidewinder is my personal preference. | |

| the novak goatcrawler is a brushless speed control esc paired w a sensored brushless motor. This is a very good system for crawling. You will have a lot of precise control in your movement. Because it is so good it costs $$$. Another item you will need are weights for the wheels....get them first before you assemble your beadlocks.... |

The novak goat would be my pick. It comes with the speed electronic speed controller and the motor so thee is no need for the 55t motor. The novak goat brushless system is awsome and you wont be dissapointed in it.

| edit: If you dont have alot of experiense in the hobby(or just rock crawling side) i would go with the artr it come fully built and has some upgrades and a better body. the bodty that the kit comes with isnt up to the job without some major hacking and you dont have to paint the body in the artr

For the artr you need a motor, esc, servo, radio. Id go with a strong servo and sue a servo horn. If you go with the goat brushless system you need a servo and radio. Because the novak goat brushless system come with the motor and esc.

I would get this http://www.ckrccrawlers.com/shop/ind...oducts_id=1087 And this http://www.ckrccrawlers.com/shop/ind...roducts_id=693 This is the best deal on the net guaranteed. For the price you would pay for just the ARTR almost anywhere else you can get it and the stage 2 kit here. I ordered one about 30 minutes ago. I also got an email from them saying the next batch will be in this week, possibly tomorrow. |

I would highly recommend getting your kit and parts from RPP Hobby. Their kits are down just under $200 now and their service and shipping speed is incredible. I've not had one good experience with CKRC. I found that the only things I really felt the need to upgrade on the AX-10 was following the AX-10 comp build guide here and changing the shock configurations to eliminate the torque twist. The other thing I did was put a slipper clutch on it. Now that I'm a bit better at driving the truck and knowing it's limits, I probably wouldn't need the slipper anymore. |

Seems MrNate is onto something. RRP is cheapest Ive seen on the kit. I havent purchased from CKRC before so I cant vouch for their service. Guess we will see. I hope its pretty good though. I just dropped $320 there. I dont own one yet (well technically i do) but, from what I have heard if your gonna keep the stock driveshafts you are gonna want the sleeves that keep the yoke from popping out of the joint. I didnt order them cause I didnt enough cash right now (my wife want to kill me already) . Might go with the MIP cvd eventually.

well that kit that i posted up there came with motor, esc, radio, servo, batterie, and charger. all i have to do is put it together and run. now rpp buying the kit and then buying every little thing i need seperatly would cost almost $450. for $350 i can get all that plus another set of tires. i dont know. im still looking around. |
