Default My shocks leak

I'm running internal springs and have tried several differant oil wts. Right now I'm actually using Lucus automotive oil and love the results. Problem is that during all of my experimenting I've yet to get away from my shocks leaking down.
How do ya fix this?

Rebuild them using Team Associated's Green Slime on the o-rings and they will never leak provided you maintain them.

teflon tape...the skinny roll, one and a half wrap on the threads. leak fixed and no scraping silicone off when you rebuild them.

Check the threads on the cartridges like said, also check the o-rings because its possible you have ruptured them while inserting the shock shaft, make a note of coating the rod end threads in shock oil or AE green slime before putting it through the o-rings

Since you've been experimenting with all kinds of oils. Rebuild the shocks using new original O-rings and 100% silicone damper oil. I've found that some oils actually cause some O-rings to shrink while some other oils cause them to swell (From personal experience I can tell you that Mobil 1 and Militec are both among oils and oil additives that can cause damage to some O-rings).
Use Associated Green Slime when rebuilding.
Check the shafts, bent or scratched shafts can cause leaks.
Locate the leak, is it where the shock shaft exits the shock body or is it at the other end?

They were leaking around the top threads. It seems like the RTV sealant worked good so far too. Thanks alot for the help.

Permatex Liquid Teflon Sealant ....... (any automotive supply chain will carry it)

Just rebuild my plastic bodies using it, ALOT easier then teflon tape and not as tough to remove as RTV.

and with that much articulation maybe double check the bodies arent hitting anything causing the cap or body to flex, that will make the caps pop off.
