Default upper link connection

on the upper link support at the axle, what goes in the hole?
is there supposed to be a pivot ball or something?

It's the same black pivot ball as all the links and steering. I think the traxxas ball will fit.
That's the most commonly broken part on the kits, the upper axle link mount splits from not installing the ball properly.

The boomerang mount from TCS works great, I recommend it.
