Default rcp rear stright axle

has anyone had any trouble with the axial wheel nuts fitting?

both I can get the hexes to fit but I cant get the locknuts to fit at all.

iv tried everyone I have plus everyone home depot has. lol and just from trying them the first 2-3 threads on the axle are all messed up.

You can try running a 4mm die on it to clean the threads up.

Did you tap the shafts into the Bonus line lockers? Maybe you accidentally smashed the threads a little when tapping them in.

I know I didnt do that cause I filed it down enough so I could force it in by hand.

I'll say it here. I haven't got a clue. I am going to send you another set. These are made on CNC equipment so I don't see how the threads could be wrong. I will double check the ones I send to be sure there is not an issue with them or any of the others we have.

ok thanks man sounds great. if I could since I messed up my wheel nuts can I send you money for the ones that you test fit so I dont have this problem again?

I had issues with the Axial wheel nuts going on the shafts as well. Actually, just one side. I used a combo wrench to thread/unthread the nuts several times until it smoothed out a little. It's still tighter than I'd like it to be.

It's a 4mm? I need to get some metric tap/die stuff I guess....
