What is the best way to lower my CG on my AX-10? I want to slam it. Any help is appreciated.

You are going to need new springs(losi whites) or go with a droop set-up. There are many threads with this info here. Good luck.

Step 1: Follow what TwistedXT said, get 2/3 A packs and mount on front axle
Step 2: Position all electronics nice and low on the chassis
Step 3: Remove stock battery mount plate
Step 4: Place the rubber bump stop on the shocks in side the shock under the piston
Step 5: Install Losi Yellow/Pink/White Truck Rear Springs on the truck

This will give you a super stable truck with about 2.625" GC at rest.

These are all very good suggestions. When my truck was stock there was two things I did that made a huge CG difference. First was put the stock rubber downstop inside the shock under the piston. This limited the amount of up travel lowering the truck. Next I took the stock axial springs and cut about .5" off the springs. This lowered the truck considerably which makes a HUGE difference in the CG.

Getting the electronics low as possible in relation to the axle is the next big step.

Thanks. I'll try those set-ups. my electronics are already super low and I just ordered a split pack for the axle. I will cut the springs until I can get some losi's.

Is the droop set up the best all around design? I keep hearing this from a local guy, but am not sure.

I wouldn't say best all around. depends on your terrain. On some terrain it's a belly dragger. but on terrain that may be more vertical and not many (cliffs) or with lots of side hills the lower cog will be worth it. I've personally got exactly 2.5" of belly clearance and its perfect for my area. Thats the biggest thing. DO WHAT WORKS FOR YOU.
