Default Bigger Tires Rock Racer/Moster Truck

I use my Ax10 as more of a 4x4 basher and I was wondering if I can get bigger tires like E-Maxx wheels. The narrow width and soft sidewalls of the tires make the truck roll over easy with speed.

Thanks for the help

As far as I know, all maxx style wheels are 14mm or bigger in the hex area. I'm sure there's an easy way around that with adapters or special hexes. RCP Crawlers has some 12mm to 17mm adapters that might work. With Bonus Line chromoly lockers and CDW 6mm outputs in the tranny, the drive train should hold up fairly well to the bigger tires. Might look into aluminum gears for the tranny and steel diff gears as well. Maxx or Revo driveshafts....

Start with Wheely King tires as they're a direct fit on the Axial. They'll give you the look of a monster truck without the huge size of a Clod/Emaxx wheel.

you could get a set of imex all-t's, they are 5.5'' tall and 2.7'' wide so they would give you a nice monster look

+1 on that. And you might be able to grab a set pretty cheap, as they are one of the first things most people (who plan on crawling) swap out.

I did a quick swap at the LHS and it looks like the Stamped wheels will fit if I shave the center flange off the Axial hex. I also bought a slipper today so it should be getting close to done soon.
